How to Reorder of Columns in a Report Design

Selected Report -> Report Designer [New Design/ Modify Design]

 

Use the Move Up and Move Down arrows to change the order of columns in your report. Using these arrows means that you can initially create your report design without worrying too much about the order columns.  Once you have selected all the columns within your report, you can then move them about until you are satisfied with the layout.

Remember that the order of group and sort fields will have an impact on the output.

 

Follow these steps to change the order of Columns in a Report Design:

  1. Select the Column you want to move from the Report Columns section of the Report Designer

  1. Click either the Move Up or Move Down arrow to move the Column within your Report Design.

  2. Make sure that you click on the Save Changes button.
