The Switch Resource function moves Resources on the left of the Swap Tool to the right and vice versa. When using the Swap Tool, work is swapped from the Resource on the left to the Resource on the right. If you want to swap work from the Resource on the right to the one on the left, you must Switch them.
The Switch Resource function also works when only one Resource, whether it is the left or right, is in the Swap Tool.
This icon swaps resources from the left hand pane of the swap tool to the right hand pane.
Follow these steps to Switch Resources in the Swap Tool:
Assignments are always swapped from the resource on the left pane to the resource on the right pane. If you want to swap resources in the other direction, click the Switch Resource icon to switch the resources between the left and right panes.
Note: If you have unsaved swapped assignments you must save your changes prior to changing resources..
