Once raised and assessed, the most important part of the IRC process is the creation of an Action Plan. The Action Plan represents the agreed approach to the IRC item and includes tasks where appropriate. Refer to Action Plans section of Issues, Risks and Requests section.
An IRC item can have several Action Plans attached, for example there may be two different resolution plans proposed to address an Issue. Action Plans do not take effect until the status of associated tasks changes from ”New”.
