The Project Navigator allows the user to select and open projects, phases, milestones, tasks, and assignments in a new window. By drilling down through the projects, phases and tasks, the user can identify which work has been completed, which work hasn’t and monitor actual against planned work.
The Project Navigator gives the user the ability to drill down and open up an item’s profile or details page in the main Window. This Navigator window can remain open while the user works on the open item’s details and then return back to the Navigator window to select another item to work on, even if that task or assignment is in another project.
The Project Navigator displays the Project’s phases, tasks, milestones and assignment summary details in an expandable hierarchy. The user can drill down through phase and task levels and click on any item’s hyper-links to open that item’s profile page.
From the Projects List, select the projects to be included in the Navigator Window. Multiple Projects can be selected.
Click on the Navigator Icon to open the Navigator window.
When the Navigator window opens, the projects selected are minimised. Click on the Show icon to open the project. Use the Show and Hide icons to alter the projects, phases, tasks and assignments displayed.
